If you intend on visiting this "Farm" I suggest you stop at the bank before you go because these people have no heart. Everything is expensive and everything cost. The produce is very overpriced and not better that most local markets.
I came here for lunch often to get a made while you watched chopped salad or the packaged sushi. I could also pick up fresh vegetables to take home for dinner. The salads were a good value. The produce was a bit more expensive than a grocery store, but the quality was good.
My son absolutely loves it here... not sure what he like better, the animals or the playground equipment!!
I love White Post Farms for my children, the only down side that gave it a rating of very good instead of excellent is the price; way too expensive for some animals and a playground.
My kids and I had such a great time! There were so many animals to see and the kids had so much fun feeding them. The playground was huge and the kids could have easily spent a few hours alone just playing there. The Singing Chicken show was cute, but it didn't really hold their attention. This road stop farm stand has truly grown into a commercial enterprise. It offers a train ride, petting zoo, bird feeding exhibit, farm store and nursery. It has a huge playground, pony rides and is the children's party mecca of the area. Check their website for specials before you go
A little overpriced but we had a good time. My kids (2 and 4) enjoyed the bouncers, feeding the animals and riding the train. I found some of the animal enclosures to be depressingly small and unclean.
I wanted to take my one and a half old son and my 15 year old sister somewhere fun they would enjoy together. Wasn't expecting us all to have so much fun. Its a novel experience getting to feed the goats and sheep. My son had a kick out of giving them milk from a bottle and i braced myself...
