Having a summer house in Montauk for the last 8 years Gin Beach is a nice alternative to the Ocean Beaches. The water is always a bit warmer than on the Ocean side which doesn't warm till late July early August. If you have kids, Gin Beach is perfect as there is a roped off swimming area and lifeguards on... more
