Are you sure you are talking about Niagara Science Museum? What do you mean when you are saying: “it is small but free and there is some geological history explaining the history of the falls”? We have thousands of antique science instruments and philosophical apparatuses carefully selected and collected over a life time and you say “there is some geological... More

My husband, daughter (8) and I ended up finding this gem in Niagara Falls. Nick Dalacu, Niagara Science Museum founder is a brilliant man with a PASSION for Science and laboratory tools. Nick guided us thought the exhibits. (His excitement and expertise was the best part of the tour). The exhibits range from Electricity to Computers to Meteorology. Our Daughter... More

You flattered me deeply. You made me feel that, somehow, within two hours of talking about our antique science artifacts, we made your daughter to think more about science…in the long run. I think that for parents of scientific or technical persuasion it is easy and very important to try to channel their kids in developing the scientific mind. This... More

We are science museum groupies. I can't say when I've ever been to a science museum that excited my imagination as much as this one. The enthusiasm of the famous physicist whose concept is reflected here is beyond measure, geared toward the youth, the generation who may save America even yet. Support this effort, for all our sakes.

MissLaura: It was so shocking: I opened casually your review and boom: a very generous and much beyond expectation encouragement. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your appreciation will keep me going in the months ahead. With gratitude, Nick More

Almost, the curator looks like him and the girls loved his accent and the artifacts and the gems and the solar panels and the ancient microscopes and tele comunications and the gift shop and all of it. Right here in their home town, it was a great visit and we will be back.

If you are interested in the history of scence you've gotta check this out. Microscopes, lab static electricity generators, ga;vanometers, really strange medical equipment, barometers, a printing press and much, much more. If you are lucky, Nick - the collector - will explain how that instrument operates and how it is related to others on display.

An interesting museum to visit while at Niagara. It's very much worth a detour if you have some interest in science. The owner/curator, Mr. Nick Dalacu, does a great job of communicating his interest and knowledge, especially to students. Highly recommended.

I think a person is lucky if once in his lifetime he has a teacher who is truly passionate about the subject he teaches. If you are a person who has never had that privilege, then now is your chance. Nick Dalacu, the curator of the Niagara Science Museum, is humble but sharp as a tack. He knows how to... More

First of all--science was my worst subject. I decided on this side trip because my wife is a bit of a science nerd, and the reviews were outstanding. At the end, my wife had to drag me out of there. If she didn't, I'd still be there listening to the Museums curator, Nick, and I'm sure he'd still be there... More
