The Discovery Center was really warm inside and did not have many things to really see or do. If you get the Discovery Pass (US) then it's one of the things to do. Get this out of the way early or go when you have some down time. It's nice enough...but if you have kids, they won't love it.

Basic, give you what you needed but nothing special - everyone kept telling us that we should have ALL (I did but my co-workers were lame) brought our Passports and journeyed to the Canada site.

This is the biggest place on the USA side that needs improvement. The welcome center when we went has no AC it seemed very shady when we walked in. Once you get passed it the park is a joy. However being the first place people see when the enter Niagara I can see how people will get turned off right... More

We went to the Discovery Center as part of the Discovery Pass and determined fairly quickly that it was rather boring (and I'm a person who loves museums and history!) We tried to watch the movie there but left due to other visitors constant talking and loud behavior (seriously, outright talking, cracking their water bottles and one boy shooting his... More

It was not a bad place but Niagara Falls has to offer so much that do not waste your time on this. The Discovery Center presents the history of the falls in form of photos, videos, and text. Something that you can learn from books and the internet. The stuff there was really nice.

This was a horrible attraction. Do not pay for it! The movie was bad and mad you dizzy! Many people got up to leave. Several moms were complaining because half the exhibits we also broken. Total waste of time!

I would only recommend seeing this if you buy the bundled package at Niagara. It's not at all as great as I expected. The movie was boring and included very little information. The museum part had some interesting pieces, such as pictures and information about how they stop Niagara to repair overhangs and do maintanance. The man that spoke to... More

The Discovery Center was a big let down. It wasn't cheap and the movie didn't even really give you much information about the falls. Go to the Canadian side!

While in Niagara Falls, New York this past weekend, my friends and I visited all of the Niagara Falls State Park attractions. We were pleased with most everything we saw, but the Discovery Center left us with more of a "ho-hum" feeling as we left. It was a semi-interesting geology lesson for the most part, but the facility is small... More

I noticed other reviews mentioning that certain experiences are only worth it as part of a combination attraction ticket. I would say that is true of the Discovery Center. I took two of my kids in-- the 14 year old and the 8 year old while my wife took the other 2 across the street to the aquarium. There are... More
