The Red Colobus monkey is unique to Zanzibar, and here on one side of the road the trees are younger and shorter so you can see the monkeys, as they are used to people visiting. My husband and I visited Zanzibar after a wonderful safari in Kenya and Tanzania,we spent a magical 2 hours guided walk in the Zojani Forest with 2 people we had met on our safari. We visited The Jozani Forest on our way to Breezes. We were shown around by Ali, a really lovely man who works there.
