It doesn't look it from the entrance, but this is a large museum with an astounding amount of classic cars on display. Car enthusiasts (and like me, their wives) will likely enjoy the stroll through the building, with wide walkways, and did I mention the astounding collection of cars? This museum is an attractive gem worth the trip to Norwich.

A fascinating couple of hours spent savouring the delights of the American automobile history. From the early days of the horseless carriage through the boom of the 20's and then the 30's depression upto the mass consumerism of the 50's and 60's, there are stunning representations from all the great names, some long forgotten. Fabulous Fords to Delightful Dusenbergs, with... More

It was like a walk back in time to see some of the classics my parents and grandparents drove....an amazing collection, beautifully displayed and worth the drive to Norwich! On a previous visit, my dad recognized a vintage pickup truck and laughed aloud recalling when hisfather drove through some small Western NY town during Prohibition with a barrel of bootleg... More

This, though a little out of the way, is a rich resource for car buffs. For Franklin enthusiasts, it is a must see.

My husband and I were looking for something do do on a Suday afternoon in the middle of winter. We've already done the "local" museum circuit, so decided to drive the 120 or so miles to visit this museum. Actually, a friend of ours had visited it and raved about it, knowing what a motor head my husband is. Well,... More

The museum has an excellent collection of cars with a few motorcycles and aircraft engines thrown in for good measure. I spent three hours drooling and taking pictures. The people who do the restorations are as good as any in the country. They do take some liberty with colors, but nothing garish. The docent (maybe not the best term for... More

Tucked away in the rolling hills of Chenango County, lies the Northeast Classic Car Museum. The cars are housed in large, interconnected wearhouse type buildings. The collection is amazing featuring Packards, Duesenbergs, Cord, Auburn as well as the more traditional Fords, Cadillacs, Pontiacs and Chevrolets. There is a single DeLorean thtat surprisingly paled next to older cars. An extensive collection... More

So glad you enjoyed your visit. I am sorry that you missed our two "photo-op" vehicles. We have a Model T Ford and a Franklin on display, both of which you can get into and have your photo taken. I also wanted to mention that although we can accommodate groups and events up to 300 persons, we do not currently... More
