There is a bike/walking path that goes for 2/3 miles along the Hudson from Nyack to Haverstraw. Also there is hiking up hook mountain but the trails tend to last only about 20 minutes. You do have to pay for parking so it's best if you can walk down to do so.

Nice place. Places to park. I recomend climbing to the top of Hook Mountain (Nyack Beach State Park is at the bottom of the mountain) Nice place to walk or run along the water. Great place to bring your dog too! Mine loves jumping in the river!

You can walk the easy paths along the river; for more adventurous hiking there are other trails you can connect to.

Nice park but nothing but Geese droppings all over. It's hard to enjoy yourself in the surrounding when you dont know where to sit or walk without stepping into or sitting on the droppings. I dont blame the geese it's just really excessive.

Nyack Beach, which other reviewers have noted is not actually a beach, is a beautiful location to walk, stroll, jog or run. It's a pretty and wide path along the water, with beautiful views. People are very friendly and considerate of each other, which allows everyone to enjoy the beautiful experience.

No services in this park at all. But a nice place to park or picnic and watch the Hudson...if you can find a parking place in the summer.
