What a gem of a resort for beginner or intermediate skiers. I've skied Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, etc., but this place has a very special, intimate feel to it. The views of the lakes are absolutely gorgeous. The staff bends over backwards to be helpful and friendly. And a great bargain to boot! We loved it!! w

Skiing McCauley is always a pleasure. Probably the best maintained trails in the east. Hats off to the grooming crew.

While this may not be a huge ski resort, it can provide a great outlet for someone in the central New York/Adirondack area to find skiing. If you're a student or someone who can get there during a weekday, definitely take advantage of the Crazy Friday reduced fare. If you're dying to get on the slopes, but don't have time... More

Gorgeous and stunning views at the top...chairs and tables at the top to sit and enjoy the view or too picnic...plenty of hiking trails. Will do this again in the fall.

I decided to do something wild and crazy for once in my life==I went on a ski lift [never been on one before] to the top of McCauley Mountain. For a small fee you got the ride and view you will never forget. As the chair goes up the mountain it is so quiet and peaceful. Going down was a... More

First time snowboarding for kids, great lesson with Chris their instructor. Excellent place for families, low key, down to earth, not too crowded, reasonable cheap food & small bar for adults who need a beer after dealing w kids. lift tix only $12 can't beat that!
