The views are fantastic and it's wide enough so even if you're scared of heights, it's still ok. This walk is amazing.

We walk the bridge year-round and then have lunch at Lola's Cafe. Parking available on the street, but watch the parking limitations.

It's healthy, it's free, its absolutely stunning!! It really is a quintessential taste of the Hudson Valley. Take advantage of the local restaurants either before or after.

The walkway is a great little hike. The view from the walkway is nice and its great to see that the once old bridge is now a great new park.

A pleasure to find in the middle of town. The hike across is terrific especially in the summer when you need to cool off. The bridge could use some benches on the walkway to accomodate the long walk. I especially liked the new restaurants that have poped up around the site of the old railroad bridge. Watch out for the... More

Walkway Over the Hudson is a great walk. You can even bike across. It's amazing how they turned this old bride into a pedestrian walk way. The view from here is beautiful. You will see a lot of dogs on this walkway and it is quite disturbing how people let their dogs crap and not pick it up!!! You will... More

But be prepared for possible strong winds by wearing a warm hooded jacket because hat can blow off. Also, it's a lot longer a walk than you realize to go over and come back if you're not in good shape and are fighting the wind. But the views are spectacular and it's upbeat and unique. Parking is free on the... More

We only had time to walk halfway across. Beautiful vistas, great people watching. Recommend going early in the day, because it looks like it could get hot. Parking was quite confusing. We parked in the wrong lot. You have to pay for the official parking or risk getting towed. There were lots of gnats swarming around the dirt lot. On... More
