The climbing area was a huge hit, even for my oldest. Then we walked through the giant heart and under the big brain. My most science oriented kid loved the fossil and microscopes set up, and all of them went nuts over the green screen, which put them into a video basketball game. Avoid this "museum" at all cost. There are very few exhibits in the museum and many of them are either broken or very outdated. The only thing that makes this place a place to go is the IMAX theater. So if you do want to go just get the IMAX ticket and skip the museum. more

This museum is undergoing revision and one hopes it will be a huge improvement. Although the IMAX is certainly terrific, the museum has had little to offer over the past five years or so. It pales in comparison to Ithaca's science museum, for example. And, since there is almost nothing in this part of upstate NY the lack of a... more
