So did we. It is beautiful and very cool to see where the Mohawk runs into the Hudson. Picnic area is lovely and our puppy had a great time getting muddy at the canoe launch.

A hidden treasure. a beautiful walk with lots of wildlife, we saw deer as we entered the park, enjoyed seeing the fish from cliffs above the river. and enjoyed some access to the river on the other side. A nice walk around the island. Kids enjoyed the day.
nice views of the river with an easy, level walk. Good place for bird watching with the presence of waterfowl. Dogs welcome, poop in , pack out please :)
We come to Peebles Island a few times a year. There is a fee during the peak months (I think May-October), but it's not bad if you spend a few hours there.
