This place seemed very much stuck in the 70s. Fondue was one of its options. Food was marginal at best. My five-year-old ordered cheese pizza. I think what came out was a microwaved Red Baron pizza. Castel Grisch has a lovely setting on the top of one of the hills overlooking Seneca Lake. The view is beautiful. This time of the year the air is perfumed with the fragance of ripe grapes. Castel Grisch is a gem of a winery and a fantastic German resturant. The food is superb, atmosphere cozy, view of the lake is breathtaking, and the staff knowlegable, friendly and attentive. It is a "must stop" when you visit the wine county of New York State more
