I have been sailing out of Watkins Glen for years. Previous owners used to do 3 hour sails for the same price ($40.00). Current owners now have this price for a 2 hour sail. Previous owners used to do wine tastings on board. ...And, guests could bring their 'wine trail' purchases to enjoy onboard. Current owners now have their liquor... More

Larry, the Captain, and his crew were all very courteous and informational as we took the 2 hour afternoon cruise. We had nice breezes which propelled us at about 5-6 knots and it was a great venue for family conversations and relaxation. We received information about the boat and how they brought it to the lake (all via waterways) from... More

We didn't get to go for a sail as they weren't open to the public yet, but we were able to watch as they took a private party out. I would have loved to be aboard. It's a gorgeous, well-maintained schooner and Seneca Lake is beautiful to spend time on. As there is little to do in the area (other... More

Enjoy a sail on the schooner from the 1956 movie "High Society" (with Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, Dean Martin). Knowledgeable crew and great view on the lake. Served a snack and beverage on the way. Start your day with this adventure and you will still have time to enjoy Watkins Glen.

With my 10 year old grandson off from school on Monday for Columbus Day, I took him to lovely Seneca Lake, and we went for a cruise on the Malabar. Captain Larry and Mate Lisa (owner) passed around drinks as we motored away from Watkins Glen pier. Beautiful sunny day with temperature about 75, unfortunately with very little wind (3-5... More

When planning our vacation in the Finger Lake area of NY, my spouse found information about this sailing experience offered on Lake Seneca. He contacted the owners of the company, Lisa & Josh, to inquire about it and they were so enthusiastic about their sailing schooner (True Love), we decided that we had to try it. We were SO glad... The staff, especially Lisa, were very helpful and friendly. The sailboat is beautiful. However, the captain made no effort to really sail the ship to any great degree. We meandered, "a little faster than you can walk", up a short way and then around in circles. We could see the dock at all times and were really not out for... More

Recently to my visit to Watkins Glen NY we were delighted to enjoy an evening sail on the Schooner "True Love". The Captain and crew were phenominal, the hospitality shown was delightful. Not only did we enjoy an evening sailing in the lake with incredible views of the area but were also served a wonderful array of appetizers included with... More

My boyfriend and I went on a sunset cruise on the True Love in early August, and we had a wonderful time. It was a beautiful night for a sail, and we enjoyed chatting with other couples on the boat. The captain and crew couldn't have been nicer. I would highly recommend this attraction if you are visiting the Finger... More

We took a morning trip and the weather was perfect. The crew was so friendly. It was one of the most relaxing activities we did in the Finger Lakes and we highly recommend it.
