Without a doubt, this is the best winery in the Finger Lakes. We have been coming here every year for a long time. Friendly staff and an unpretentious tasting experience. The wines are priced right and are excellent. It is nice that they still do not charge for a tasting Do not miss. more

We've been visiting this winery every time we're in the area for at least ten years. The staff is always welcoming and fun. We've attended two of their nightime parties, one with a fiddle player and one mystery theater. Great winery. Unpretentious staff, (no snobs here!), love their wine, and do an excellent job at it. We greatly enjoyed it. Great views! more

If you are looking for a great winery in the Seneca Lake / Watkins Glen area, I highly recommend Lakewood Vineyards. My husband and I and our 2 children visited there in Aug. 2005, just weeks before the grapes were ready to be harvested. The owners gave us a tour of both the vineyards and the winery.
