We've been visiting this winery every time we're in the area for at least ten years. The staff is always welcoming and fun. Lakewood Vineyards is located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York. A working grape farm since 1951, the winery was established in 1988. Almost 2 decades later, with over 675 awards, we continually produce fine wines and mead, and present these wines in the inviting, friendly tasting room. We are family friendly and encourage you to enjoy the view of Seneca Lake while strolling through our vineyards or picnicking in our lawn.

Great winery. Unpretentious staff, (no snobs here!), love their wine, and do an excellent job at it. We greatly enjoyed it. Great views! more

If you are looking for a great winery in the Seneca Lake / Watkins Glen area, I highly recommend Lakewood Vineyards. My husband and I and our 2 children visited there in Aug. 2005, just weeks before the grapes were ready to be harvested. The owners gave us a tour of both the vineyards and the winery.
