One of the great vistas of the world, and climbing it will definitely burn off some pasta!

The chairlift was great as my foot had a strain problem. In the chairlift, one can observe treetops and birds, roses and blooming meadows. The mountaintop was lovely too, away from the villages below. We had a little picnic in the wild barley field just below the summit.

Take the chairlift up (lift closes at 430pm) for amazing views from the top of Monte Solaro. A must see!

We took the chairlift, 10 euro round trip for a breathtaking view of the island and surrounding area.

You must take the chair lift up Mount Solaro over the vineyards in Anacapri!

Great views over the whole island, and the cable car ride up is great. One tip: if you're inclined to do so you can walk back down into Anacapri, the walk takes about 50 minutes, and is very pretty.
