The mini golf lacks in imagination or challenge really. The kayaks to hire ($50/day, or $75/day for 2) seemed overpriced, even for Exmouth. Its currently on the market for sale as well.

We dropped in a couple of times to pay by credit card as entry into the National Park is cash only. The exhibits were amazing and the staff very helpful and friendly.
Drop in here en route to the main snorkelling beaches. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and can give you even more information about the area and it's flora and fauna than the excellent displays. Much better than the visitor centre in Exmouth.
If you want to know about the whale sharks and other wild life seen off the Ningaloo reef here is the place to go. Local history, geography even a phone box in the car park! Something you don't see in this techno age. Staff very helpful too with local knowledge too. If you want to camp in the park, book...

It would be really easy to spend a couple of hours at the visitors centre learning from the exhibits. Effort has been put into providing activities for children also. The shop has snorkels etc available for hire which is great for those who may have missed bringing in any with them.
I'm not a fan of visitor centers, but this one is definitely a cut above the usual and if you are near by you should drop in. You''ll be pleasantly surprised and will probably spend more money than usual as they have quite a good shop.
Informative and interesting place to visit and learn more about the local environment.
Picnic tables, little educational center, souvenirs, a few light refreshments, and friendly faces.
Informative, large and airy. Has good displays and printed material. The Naturally Ningaloo DVD playing in the theatre covers the area pretty well - I bought a copy in the shop. Can hire snorkeling gear at the shop and cold drinks and ice creams - nice on a hot day.
Very friendly staff who knew their stuff. Strongly suspect one of the female staff who helped us had a crush on Jim the manager of the Sea Breeze resort not "too far away", and she was hot ozzie chick too. Lucky Jim :-)
