Small town wild west themed amusement park best for young kids (6 and under) for most activities within the park. If the kids are somewhat older, get the teenager(s) to take them to spend time on the carnival rides, ski lift and drop cash into the arcade. This was the first time I've been to Tweetsie Railroad. We paid $30/person for admission, and it is really really overpriced. My boys LOVE Tweetsie Railroad, especially when Thomas the Train is there. A lot different from the huge amusement parks. It was nice because you didn't have to rush through trying to see everything or ride everything. The train ride was very enjoyable. We enjoyed our trip to the Halloween events at Tweetsie Railroad. The old-fashioned fun park setting really appeals to us. The scary train ride is legitimately scary--if predictable.
