As a native Charlottean, I have visited Levine Museum several times since it opened. I recently went back to see the new exhibit "Changing Places". I will include that in my general review. The exhibit is very educational with a lot of reading of facts. It went through the progression of Charlotte from cotton fields to Skyscrapers. It took us about 2 hours to view the museum so if you read everything, maybe longer. more

The Levine Museum of the New South was quite a wonderful experience. Its displays, regarding the change of the south were impeccably thorough. Replicas of churchs, stores, homes, cotton, even clothes of the time was fabulously done.
