The be honest we use reedy creek for walking our dogs around. Its great except for parking in the back when they have a party. The fishing is okay we have never caught anything there. The trails are nice. Plenty of picnic tables.

Only 10 minutes away from where we live, Reedy Creek is a great standby park when you don't want to drive 2 hrs to the mountains. The Nature Center is great for smaller kids, and there are tons of good walking and running trails. No mountain bikes.

Has a nice walking trail around the lake. Good for picture taking.

This is a wonderful bucolic little (?) (700+ acres!) gem saved from development in the apparently fast urbanization of Charlotte. We took a leisurely 1 hour hike to the ruins of the Robinson Rockhouse in the morning while it was still in the low 70’s. Best of all, free!
