We visit the casino several times a year. 12/26 and 27, 2009 were the worse every for the smoke. After 2 hours our clothes smelled terrible. We had to change. They are making a new no smoking area but it's not going to big enough for the nonsmokers. The smoke is getting worse every time we visit. The walls and... more

My partner and I used to live outside of Philadelphia, and traveled to Atlanic City frequently. We absolutely loved Bally's and Caesars. As well as Harrah's in AC. We just moved to Myrtle Beach, SC. The closest Harrah's property to us is in Cherokee, NC so we decided to give it a try. Cherokee offered us 3 complimentary nights due... more

If you want to lose money you have come to the right place. Out of a group of 15 men and women, not one got close to winning. Never saw anyone win anything in two days. I don't understand why people keep coming back to this place. It is a total ripoff. more

We go very often and the more we go the more we are getting fed up. The slots don't even let you play ..You can put in a $20.00 bill and maybe get 2 or 3 small hits and it is gone. I know everybody can't win, just let the $20 last a little longer.. i would like to see... more

I'm a Reno-Lake Tahoe resident and casino habitue with upcountry South Carolina roots. I found that 1) the hotel-casino is no longer totally dry. Beer and wine are served in the hotel restaurants ( a completely separate building and a long hike from the casino, itself an unusual arrangement) and in a lounge, guarded by 2 uniformed security, adjoining the... more

We did not stay at the hotel but wanted to visit the casino for a little gambling. If you are not a smoker, you'll probably choke on the cigarette smoke first of all. We are not big gamblers, but like the slot machines occasionally. If you want to play in 95% of them, you have to get a "players card,"... more

I really like the hotel at Harrah's Cherokee. It is always clean, beds are wonderful. Every room has a refrigerator and coffee pot. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Check-in is on the first floor, as well as an indoor pool and fitness room. For the kiddies, there is also an arcade room, but check on the days and times it... more

We have been going to Cherokee Casino since June 2009. I have written Total Rewards many times about our comps. We are receiving nothing in the mail. Alfred Skidmore Rewards # 12600638897 & Nancy Skidmore Rewards # 12600638900 more
