I always give Mrs. Hanes cookies for gifts. I have her cookbooks and love her recipes!!!!!!

When in Rome..... well, Winston-Salem, that is! You must experience Moravian cookies!!!

I love Moravian cookies and this is the place to get them. I usually get them around Christmas even though they bake them year round. They offer a variety of flavors, but the ginger is my favorite.

I have never know another place in the world where these delicious cookies aare made. Often tried elsewhere, but never duplicated.

Winston-Salem is the home of Moravian cookies and Mrs. Hanes is where you go for the best prices....either at the store or mail order. The packaging and marketing are not as fancy as Dewey's....and the selection isn't as great, but this is where the locals go. Over and over again.

Do not ever visit the greater Winston Salem area without getting yourself some of Mrs. Hanes' Moravian Cookies. OK, there are other places to get Moravian cookies, but do yourself a favor and go find the REALLY Great version.

I have never had any problems with my Moravian cookies and have since fallen in love with mrs hanes' cookies! They are the beat of the best!

Upon opening my tin of Mrs. Hanes ginger cookies, I was distressed to see a small amount of liquid in the tin, and a foul aroma coming from the cookies. We were in the area returning to Lexington from Winston-Salem, so we chose to drop by this factory. We arrived at 4:30pm and were disappointed to find they had already closed.
