A must when traveling to Duke University. The architecture is breathtaking! I know why it is on the top 100 places to see before you die.

This is a gorgeous central site on campus and you can generally get in to see it unless there is a wedding going on. Students and staff love having weddings there. The chapel choir is wonderful and comprised of residents and students and going to service there on Sunday morning is a lovely experience.

The Duke Campus is wonderful. The chapel is elaborate, secluded, and a gem.

We don't like to use bucket list, but if you must do a few things in life the Duke Chapel has to be one of them. You have to visit there because words nor pictures adequately describe the beauty and the majesty of this marvel.

Duke Chapel is clealry one of the most beautiful church buidlings I have ever been in The acoustics are also wonderful and a great backdrop for the various performances during the year. For some of the bigger events like the Messiah, get there early because the seating gets filled up quickly and you might get seated behind a huge pole... More

The centerpiece of the Duke University campus, if you see nothing else on the campus this is worth a visit, and visit for a service or a musical performance if you can, particularly when the organ is playing. You can go up into the bell tower or check out the Duke family private chapel in the back. Reminiscent of european... More

I recall attending a church service at the Duke Chapel. Msgr. Shugrue celebrated the anniversary of his ordination at the Duke Chapel. I served as a lector at the Mass. It was a memorable experience in a very grand building. The architecture is most beautiful. I was highly honored.
