My son and I went to Dancing Bear Toys in Hendersonville on a very regular basis from the time we moved here when he was 3 to probably when he was 10 years old or so. We often went to just look at toys, play with the train set, wish for things, be inspired, and occasionally make very special purchases... More

“Excellent toy shop”

It always makes me happy to visit a classic toy shop. Dancing Bears is one of the best. They have an excellent selection with reasonable prices. There are many toys to try-out and places for kids to play while parents are shopping. I do hope every visitor will stop in and buy a little something from this great little shop!

Having been at toy stores in the big city, this one is small.... but, it has soooo much to offer. I was very impressed! My son loved it and hopes to go back. They had a nice train setup for the kids to play with and that they did. I recommend this shop be on your list of stopping points... More

I lOVE LOVE LOVE this toty store! The staff are VERY friendly and helpful and they don;t panic when kids walk in and act like they've arrived at Disneyland! If there is a toy you need- they should have it. If not, they'll get it for you! You can;t leave without finding at least 2 things you have to have!... More
