Great group of park users, lots of shade (trees). Benches that sit very close to the water..

Latta Plantation has so many things to do you could easily spend the whole day there. This is a wonderful trip to take to get out the house and enjoy the great outdoors. The prices are very reasonable.

Went here for an Easter egg hunt 2012 with the family. Very pretty place and it was nice to see a piece of history. Would have enjoyed it more if there were more things telling you about the history of the plantation.

We only took some of the trails this time, as our time was limited. We will revisit. We would have preferred that the trails were more wooded instead of like roads.

What I like most about Latta hiking trails are the options. There are trails that are lake side, thru the woods, hiking/horse trails, and lots of smaller add on loops/out and backs......Pretty well marked and well maintained. We absolutely love the walking trails throughout the plantation. Wonderful, well maintained paths with lots of shade. Really nice to be able to walk for hours in peace and tranquility!

Was there for a reenactment. Provision could be better.
