Thanks to The Nature Conservancy, this wonderful section of maritime forest has been preserved for all to enjoy! This is a wildlife paradise. Tons of interesting looking plants, birds, turtles, snakes, and other wildlife. You definitely must wear long pants and have insect repellent, as there are some mosquitos, but in terms of a secluded, primitive nature place, where you feel like you stepped back in time, this is absolutely great.
