My daughter and I had a wonderful time visiting the Fort Fisher Aquarium. It took about half a day to go through all the exhibits. We spent the most time in the Cape Fear Conservatory section enjoying the different exhibits. This aquarium is definitely not as nice as my "home" aquarium in Newport (Cincinnati). But it's also half the price. We had a good afternoon there - nothing spectacular, but a good time. more

This aquarium was larger then I was expecting and I really had a good time. The price was very reasonable $8 a person is not bad considering every other aquarium I have been to charges you upwards of $15 a person and you are finished with them in half the time. In the area definitely give it a shot. more
