Nice little historic site with free admission. Despite little reviews here the guestbook adds international visitors every day. A tour starts every half hour, and you can watch a little, although aging, movie about the site. Thats not why you go there though, the real charm is the tour and the guide. My mother-in-law enjoyed the movie & tour of the mine which are free and the $2 pan for gold. She found a small piece in her pan! But continued to question why they would just stop mining for gold in 1912 without much explanation. We researched it later that evening. If you go definitely research before you go as it... more
