We visited Ocracoke Island and seen several attractions there. You have to take the toll-free ferry to get there which takes about 40 minutes. It's a neat thing to do if you've never rode a ferry. Ocracoke Island is only 14 miles long, so it's pretty crowded when you get in town. The Ocracoke Lighthouse is nice to see but... more
