We stopped at this general store and the owner went out of her way to be rude to us after spending over $40 there. On the way out, she also yelled at us for not closing the door even though we only left it open since it was open when we went in. Avoid this place and enjoy some of... more

Stay clear of Albert Styron's General Store on Ocracoke Island N.C., it is a supreme tourist trap. The store is chock-full of worthless trinkets from China and the staff was very rude. They literally yelled at us for the front door being open too long. It is a waste of time. SHK more
