New surfers are looked after in a segregated part of the beach by the life guards whilst more experienced surfers can enjoy consistently great waves. Loads of surfing schools to choose from and good beach facilities More

Smallish beach, with great waves. This is proved by the many surf shops where you can hire or buy all the gear. The other side of Croyde is a picturesque village with plenty of places to eat and drink. Regular open-air markets and other events through the summer More

Croyde is a great surf beach, and well looked after with the life-guards out daily, even into October. There were a lot of surfers out there though and if we had all tried to squeeze between the flags in the designated zone there would have been a lot of collisions. Works well near low tide with long rides in good... More

I took to my surf board for the first time last year with this company - we had a superb time! This year, I brought my 13 year old son to try a day's surfing - typical teenager, poor listener, a bit lanky and a little exercise averse!). These guys were absolutely brilliant! We were split into different groups for... More

The best ratio around. 1 instructor to 5 students. Worth the money. Had an amazing time!!! They are situated within the old cream shop which do amazing pasties and the nicest ice-cream ever (far better than the ice-cream parlour down the road). More

Even before I booked with SCB, they were brillant - I had a few concerns following my first surfing trip in Newquay and I wanted to improve and Carlo was very helpful and friendly on the phone. They responded quickly to emails and returned calls. So this was my second time surfing but my first time in Croyde Bay and... More
