What can I say? I live here and it's the best! Golf, tennis, marina, beach club, parks, amphitheater, great variety of restaurants, and wonderful people. There are activities galore year round with everything from theatre nights to dancing under the stars. Sometimes I think that we stay "too busy"!

We have lived in St. James for 5 years and are convinced we made the absolutely right decision. If you can't find an activity here...you'll never find the right place to live.

We stayed at St. James Plantation last summer, took the developer's tour, and loved the condo we stayed in - gated, 3 br, 3 bath, pool, golf, beach club, restaurants on site - everything was first class. We went back again this year in August with a view toward retiring there soon and stayed first in a 2 br, 2...

I gave it a four because I think everything has room for improvement.
But these are GREAT courses. We have played two of the three courses at St. James. The Guantlet ( now called Founders Club) is a PB Dye course.
It only received 3 *s in Golf Digest Places To Play. Don't let that keep you from playing it....
