Fort Dobbs is an authentic historical site for the french and indian war. Not much is known about the F & I War and the westward movement of pioneers. The frontiers were truly wild. Ft. Dobbs gives us a peek into the history of this era.

Shows what soldiers,during this time was considered the wilderness, had to endure. The demestration of how the rifles worked during this time was very informative and noisy. The kids in the group loved it.

This "fort" is mostly a field where you can see where the fort used to be. There is an old (I think dry) well and occasionally they'll add something small to add to the visual interest.
