Good way to make history come alive, great open tour but showing age and wear and tear. Very good stories on the displays from the men who served on the ship. Take the time to read the comments-they are worth the admission price alone! Most folks just pushed through and kept moving.
Too cool with tons of history. Lots to read and very impressive to actually stand on the deck of history.
How great to have a piece of history from WWII right here in North Carolina. The Battleship is very visible from the waterfront in downtown Historic Wilmington on the Cape Fear River. She is decked out in her battle camouflage shades of gray. A short ride over the bridge will take you
to her welcome center. Be sure to watch...

This famous ship has been very well restored and the self-guided tour is easy to follow from deck to deck and exhibit to exhibit but expect to get a little work-out climbing up and down the stairs.

We were in Myrtle Beach for a few days and made this into a day trip. Wonderful history and exhibits. If you love history, you will love this!!

...what's not to like, seeing one of the greatest examples of the American Naval Forces in the world? This ship is incredibly bigger than life. I don't know of any WWII-era battleship that's being kept in its original condition and still remains in the water.
You'll love parking, looking at the gigantic shells that are used for parking pylons with...
