I visited Airlie Gardens in the summer of 2003 mainly because this beautiful location was used in the television show "Dawson's Creek." The gardens are absolutely breathtaking. It can get pretty hot during the summer months; that is the only complaint I remember hearing from my mother (I dragged her there of course). I particularly enjoyed seeing the Pergola Garden.... more

the first time i came here they were setting up for a wedding and it looked very pretty. A nice place to have a wander around, nicely kept gardens. Best in the spring of course. Closed in winter. more

If the weather is nice..take advantage and visit Airlie Gardens, a good combination of history and southern landscaping. The visitor center leaves a lot to be desired, but the landscape makes the experience worth a visit. Make sure to visit the Glass Bottle House...this alone is worth the price of admission! Great place to pass a couple hours taking outdoor... more
