Fort Fisher is a great place to go to gather information about the Civil War. They have a museum where you can walk around and see uniforms that the soldiers wore, cannonballs, and other artifacts from the war. Outside you will come to my favorite part, a field looking out to the water covered in mounds. It's pretty neat to... more
