Having a bunch of family aged 8 to 77 makes it hard to find something that everyone can and want's to do. The Trolley was fun and a good overview of Wilmington.

Since I didn't have a lot of time, I thought the motorized trolley might cover ground that I would not see and I assumed the driver would have some interesting facts about the historic downtown area. Instead I wasted 30 minutes of my time and $10 of my money. Unless you are unable to walk well or you are with...

A friend we were staying with us took us to Wilmington for the day. It began to rain so we opted to take the Trolley Tour. We were surpsied to find it pleasant and interesting. The driver/guide was dressed in attire from the past. He had a wealth of knowledge about the city and the mansions that we passed along...

After touring the battleship, we decided to take a trolley tour of Willimgton. We really like history and learning. We've taken other trolley tours on vacation, so thought this might be a good choice to sit back and relax. Our tour was supposed to be 45 minutes, but lasted about 30--maybe...We did see a lot of sites, but our tour...

We were the only passengers on the tour so expected that we would receive a more personalised approach. In reality the driver gave the same speech that he probably gave to a full bus.
There was nothing wrong with this but it just seemed a missed opportunity.

In February, I had a sister, daughter-in-law and grandson in town and we took the tour. It was informative, lots and lots of information. Our driver was good and I could have gone around several times. Wilmington is a lovely town and one that has a lot of history. I doubt that you would be disappointed.
I took the trolley tour last summer with out of town relatives and we all came away pleased with the results. The driver, an elderly man was very humorous and well read on Wilmington area history. He told the story of the town from its founding up to the modern era and made it interesting and remember, if you take...

I've taken out of town guests on this trolley tour twice. The first time was at Christmas to see the lights. The tour was overpacked with children, and parents--young parents were standing in the aisles, toddlers were sitting on the floor. I'm sure it was unsafe to ride this way.
The tour director made several historical errors, and because there...

I booked a tour of downtown Wilmington through the Wilmington Trolley Company as a part of a ten day exchange program for 19 students from Denmark. The tour was great. Our exchange students experienced a very entertaining and informative tour of Wilmington. I will definitely include the Trolley tour in next year's exchange program.
My four sisters, mother and two aunts decided to take a trolley tour during a cloudy day in Wilmington, NC. We needed an activity suitable for all of us (ages 50 to 84). The trolley seemed like a good way to get an overview of the city. The tour was to begin at 3. We boarded the bus a few...
