For many people, after they complete the epic journey at Greywolf, they’ve got a brand new favourite. Located in a spectacular alpine setting at Panorama Mountain Village, Greywolf is a course that just wins people over, time and time again. Recognized by Golf Digest as one of the Top-100 Courses in the World Outside of the United States, Greywolf is about as impressive as mountain golf gets.Designed by talented Canadian architect Doug Carrick, who has built many of Canada’s best courses in the past decade, Greywolf features several holes that will be seared in your memory bank for a long time. The dynamite collection of par-3s, capped by the diabolical Cliffhanger hole, is, unquestionably, one of the best in the world. With beautifully sculpted bentgrass fairways and hair-raising elevation changes, your round at Greywolf is going to be one for the ages. « less

In my 20+ years of golf I have played in places from Colorado to Florida, England to Hawaii, but this gem is - so far - my favorite. The golf course was in great shape, the pace is perfect (at least until too many people discover it!), and I can't say enough about the vistas. Nestled into the British Colimbian... More

This is true golfers course. Some challenging holes. The views are awesome. Golf cart a must here, big rolling hills. Arrive early to hit the driving range, which is included. Great staff.

Greywolf Golf Course is hands-down the favourite for my husband and I! For the last 3 years, we have made an annual trip to the valley, playing a rotation of courses, but Greywolf is our "must visit" attraction of every trip. It is truly awe-inspiring, carved out of the mountain side, and the most beautiful and challenging round of golf... More

Doug Carrick designed Greywolf and thinks it's one of his best and I couldn't disagree, having played a few of his courses. Best known for the picturesque par-3 sixth hole (see the cover of John Gordon's Great Golf Courses of Canada), Greywolf has a number of spectacularly scenic holes. I can't imagine walking this course--the first 3 holes play uphill... More

This course was absolutely fantastic. We played Greywolf in August '09 when staying in Banff. It is about a 2 hour drive (if I remember correctly) from that area and was well worth it. We played Banff Springs, SilverTip, Stewart Creek, Mt. Kidd, and Jasper Park. This course brought the best of those courses together and knocked the pants off... More
