Parks Canada has done an excellent job with this Park. I regard this as a must-see. Everything is organized so nicely, so informative and easy to navigate. This Park took my breath away! Only regret: I went at a time when the boat to Western Brook Pond was not running. I will recommend this park to everyone I know, please... More

If you travel in Newfoundland, and you missed this park, that's not a big deal because there is nothing to see there. It is one more time a prove that the UNESCO protects places that have nothing special. The only reason is the local political pressure to add a site to gain more tourists.

Newfoundland is advertising on tv to get you over there. The images of landscapes, homes, boats, wharves, etc. have highly pumped up color, highly saturated. This is false advertising. The homes in the ads have all been freshly painted with bright colors. There is a string of "new" freshly painted boats in a row. All colors photoshoped with pumped up... More

I may be a little biased as I have visited Gros Morne every summer for the past 25 years. But there is a reason for that...it is a spectacular part of the world and a part that remains uncrowded and given its' geography, unchanged. There are so many things to do...the hikes, the water tours, the geology, the sunsets, the... More

Everything about this park is amazing! Best places to visit include Western Brook Pond, Tablelands, and Green Gardens.

Gros Morne is such an amazing place! There is so much to do and see. We spent 3-4 days there, and it was not nearly enough time to see everything. A trip to Newfoundland would be worth it just to visit Gros Morne.

I've visited here a zillion times and will continue to come back. This is truly one of the best national parks in Canada. Lots of fantastic business operators who can help you enjoy the park and endless trails for summer and winter fun.

So, always wished you could go to New Zealand? Can't afford the zillions of air miles/dollars? You can see scenery/hike/visit fjords equal to everything you will see in the south pacific (I've been to both). Gros Morne is breathtaking - the mountains, the fjords, the sky, the moose (everywhere) - just go. The people are also wonderful. And take your... More

Beautiful. Stunning. Amazing. We had the pleasure of visiting Gros Morne, and what a delight. My only regret is that I didn't have weeks to explore the entire vast area. Even just driving to the tablelands was scenic & everywhere we looked there was another photo opportunity. The tablelands were stunning, with great views, and a beautiful hike. I have... More
