This place has a very special place in my heart as this is where my husband and I got married. All our wedding guests claimed it to be the most beautiful wedding they had been to. We were very fortunate to be married in such a breathtaking place. Their award winning restaurant "Le Caveau", run by chef Jason Lynch, catered... More

We had a very nice lunch out on the patio. Unfortunately dinner was booked so call ahead. The winery itself was okay but definitely not up to par with the ones we've been to in the Okanagan.

Domaine de Grand Pre produces great wines, including sparkling. There is an on-site restaurant that offers fabulous meals.

It had been about 10 years since we last visited Grand Pre so this festival gave us a good reason to go. SURPRISE!!! The last time we were here there was only the church, they now have an information center with a short film on the plight of the Acadians as well as indoor and outdoor re-enactments of how work... Because of the not so good weather it turned out we were the only ones interested in the tour. So we had our own private tour. A friendly staff member showed us around the vineyard. It's a nice property and the story behind it is interesting to hear. Altogether the tour took around 15 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no tour... More

We had a very short tour of the vineyards, no actual tour of the wine making. After the tour, we went inside for wine tasting. We tasted about 7 different wines. It was very helpful to compare and contrast their wines. They also make a dessert wine from apples that is so good and also ice wines. They don't normally... More

This was the only winery on our itinerary, due to time constraints. This one fit well into our destinations. It was a lovely winery with very good wines. The tour was great, they told us more about growing the grapes than we'd ever heard on any other tour. It is a family owned vineyard and the family works in different... More

Domaine de Grand Pre is a lovely boutique winery located in the Annapolis Valley. Tours are available several times a day during the summer, but be sure to call ahead for the schedule. Our tour guide did a fantastic job of explaining how the vineyard operates and the origins of their vines. The outside portion of the tour consists of... More
