Masstown Market is a multi service shop. It has a great restaurant, cafeteria style, with a great menu of local delights. The seafood chowder is more seafood than I have ever seen in a chowder. Fresh bread and rolls and cinnamon rolls. A wide variety of fresh produce and meat to buy as well as homemade jams and jellies. Also... More

There are many items offered from gardening to roast chickens. There is a bakery that offers a large variety of fresh baked goods. I find that the food isn't as good as it used to be, otherwise would give it an excellent rating.

A little bit of everything. Masstown Market has been apopular stopping place for years. The smells from the bakery entice visitors and Masstwon's fall produce keeps the parking lot full. Beautiful giftware, a liquor mart and anewly added fish and chips/ fish market make this a great stopping place for travellers.

Besides the best Chilli you've ever tasted, there is an excellent Bakery onsite and plenty of fresh locally grown produce. This is one of the few remaining locally independent GEMS that are not like the large chain fruit and vegtable stands you find everywhere else. Clean, economical, great selection, and a cut above most highway markets. The locals go here... More

This is a favourite pitstop for travellers on the Trans Canada in Nova Scotia. It has a country feel with a garden centre, gift shop, market with fresh local foods, bakery, cafeteria-style deli and restaurant. Virtually everybody coming out of the Market has a huge ice-cream and a big smile. I'm a big fan of the "Dutchman's Cheese" and this... More
