I wouldn't recommend this attraction for anyone without kids. Was very family oriented. The live acting and activities were great, but better with kids. Definitely wouldn't have paid the high price for myself and my husband. more

This was the highlight of our trip. Make sure you go early and plan to stay for the day as the players lead you through the story through events and outdoor theatre. Kids loved it and were involved in classes in the schoolhouse and a good old fashioned sports day. more

Recently went to PEI with two 10 year olds ( a boy and a girl) . Avonlea was the favorite place. The interaction of the characters, skits, music, country fair and playing dress up kept the kids entertained the whole day. We expected a couple hours but stayed the whole day.
