Visit to an open pit mine at Mount Lyall, where visitors and search for agate, amethyst, quartz, kaolin clay, etc..). The mine provides hammers and tools, as well as a stone-cutting and polishing service (based on size). Also have a shop with rocks, gems and jewelry for sale. It's recommended that visitors bring their own gear (boots, gloves) as well as food. Establishment accepts cash only.
