Amazing and different. Been twice and try to pull all my friends there. wasn't even going to go in because I have been to so many caves. but then I went and looked at the configuration and I had never seen anything like it that I could enter.
We had a blast - but this isnt for everyone and more so people should think ahead when visiting this place. We plan on going back and here is what we have to say and wanted to share:
*Wear proper shoes - good shoes are VITAL!
*Be prepared to do some climbing and moving around in tight spaces
*Call ahead,...

After a terrible storm the night before, we visited the cavern with our family. We went into the cavern, which was more like a crack. (I have been to Mammoth Cave, Hannibal, etc. this was nothing like those). The slab rocks you climb down were slippery, probably from the rain water seeping through the ground. We were rudely told we could not combine offers even though we were checking in separately. In the end we gave up with the coupon, which was worth...

My husband and I were staying nearby at a Bed and Breakfast and I wanted to take him someplace different that would be fun. I had gone to Seneca Caverns with my parents a few years ago and we surprisingly had a blast! It's educational, entertaining and and just plain old fun. Be prepared to hunch down at times and...

I was a little hesitant to read the reviews that stated to go after a dry spell, since this has been one of the wettest summers on record. We went anyway and had a great time-there was plenty of cave to see and the tour was fun and informative. It sounds like there's almost always water at the bottom levels...

If it has been raining, you will not be able to go down as far as you would during a dry spell.
