Once you enter the glass-encased shrine, however, the only issue is how to sample six floors and six decades of rock memorabilia in a single visit. « less

I'm glad I took the time. While I can find out quite a bit from the internet regarding the artists and overall history of Rock and Roll, having it all contained in one spot provided a focused experience. I was born in '55 and am very happy that the exhibits included quite a bit on the roots of rock and... More

We travelled from Baltimore just to visit and we were not disappointed. Everyone with an interest in music should visit, you will see so much material for at least some of the bands/artists that you love and will learn plenty about ones you didn't know much about. I went with my 2 daughters who are both in their early 20's... More

A must see Cleveland attraction. Be prepared to spend at least 4-5 hours to enjoy all the things about Rock and Roll they have to offer. They always have a featured artist on display for a period of time. Food is available with patio seating overlooking the Port of Cleveland and Lake Erie.

We thought the place was very cool and worth the time/money. Make sure you check out the "movies" as they are worth the time. Make sure you allow at least 3-4 hours to see the place and not the 2-3 that AAA suggests.

I am almost 60 years old, a professional, and such a museum was not on my list of must sees. However my wife, youngest daughter and I went for what we thought would be two hours and stayed until they kicked us out at 9pm. We would like to go again some day and spend more time. Our 16 year... More

I've loved R&R music since I first heard Elvis sing Hound Dog in the early fifties (I was a very liitle kid at the time, but had a teen-aged sister), and I've wanted to visit the R&R Hall of Fame for years. I've been to a lot of museums and exhibits in my 60 years, but this one missed the... More

Will be boring for casual fan. If memorabilia is not your thing, stay away.

The material is so well presented. Instead of museum fatigue as in most museums, you feel exhilarated. Kind of mind blowing. A very emotional walk through the history of Rock and Roll for anyone who heard the Beatles, et al, coming through a transitor radio. The only thing missing is The Monkees wing.

I had high expectations for this attraction. I expected strong tributes to the all-time great rock bands, but I was really disappointed. The walls were mostly full of memorabilia of one-hit wonders, and pop-stars. When I think of rock music I do not think of Madonna or Michael Jackson. I would recommend not wasting your money on this attraction, as it... More
