I haven't been back for my annual visit yet, but I've been to this zoo at least once every year of my life (I'm 25). It's a must every spring/summer. There's always plenty to see and plenty to keep me busy photographing. The new African Elephant Crossing exhibit is awesome! The wolf exhibit is another of my favorites as well.... More

I had been to the zoo about 25 years earlier and it seemed more impressive then. The zoo was okay but would be a lot nicer if better maintained. The horticulture seemed to have been "let go" and the windows were all pretty dirty. some of the people working were very friendly and others should find work outside the tourism... More

Many great exhibits. Australian area is wonderful. Wombats roaming free and come right up to you. Aquarium on the top of the hill is not worth the walk up the switchback. If you desire to go to the Aquarium definitely take the free tram. The zoo i great for the most part but there are lots of open area w/o... More

We went one time during a freezing snowstorm. The employees brought out a small van and drove us around the zoo, often times stopping to give us a more personal tour. My kids will never forget it and watching them feed the polar bears.

Enjoyed taking my Granddaughter here for her first zoo visit. I suggest going early in the day but not at opening a lot of the animals weren't out yet and a lot of the food places or drink places weren't open.

You can get up close - but not bother the animals. The rain-forest is great year-round. Really beautiful and it is always busy! It is worth the trip no matter what time of year!

I'm an adult and still love going with my friends to the Zoo. It's a great way to spend a nice warm day outside. It gets us lots of exercise (that is if we don't get lazy and take the tram uphill). The animals are more active during early spring and in the fall when it's cooler and that's my... More
