This museum is awesome. It's very hands on and that's what I look for in a museum. I like anything that I can touch and learn about. I don't like museums where you just read read read and there is nothing to touch. This museum offers many hands on exhibits and kids love it.

It must be very difficult to remain up to date in the rapidly changing world of science and technology. It must also be difficult to keep hand-on exhibits operational for thousands of visitors. Still, this institution feels older than its 15 years of operation. That said, the kids (ages 3-10) still have a wonderful time and often ask to go... More

Right on Lake Erie, between Cleveland Browns stadium and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is the Great Lakes Science Center. This is a science center built specifically for children. There is a portion that is dedicated to NASA so that you can learn about various space sciences. Beyond that, it's a pretty general science museum including many fun... More

Plenty of hands on activities for children to learn and experiment. Garage parking for a discount of $7 with stamped parking receipt, don't even have to walk outside to enter. Beautiful location right on Lake Erie. Right between the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Browns Stadium. The Imax is worth the money here. One of the newest and... More

We visited in April of 2012 with young children and had a great time. The facility consists of two main floors and an additional lower level which seems to be used for schools and events. The primary floor has various exhibits and stations for children to touch, build, and play in areas ranging from space to flight to blocks. It... More

Parking is expensive. When we visited they were celebrating young inventors. Some of the projects the children made for the event were impressive. They do interactive shows throughout the day, but on a busy day, it is difficult to see anything. Especially if you have a small child.

Tons of hands on stuff to keep the kids busy the entire day! There are exhibits for both older and young kids... and the IMAX theater is awesome!
