The theaters at Playhouse Square are world class: the older theaters (State, Palace and Ohio) as well as the newly remoddeled theaters (Hanna and Allen). It's worth the trip down just to see the theaters and the productions are fabulous. The last two plays I saw were Addams Family and Come Fly with Me. Both great shows done in a... More

The Playhouse Square complex has recently been renovated and is better than before. Beautiful theatres, classic feeling. There are all types of performances throughout the year with affordable prices. Have attended the Broadway series for many years and only on a rare occasion is the show disappointing. Easy to support the arts in Cleveland with a venue such as this.

Cleveland is extremely lucky to have this collection of theaters and the amazing variety of live entertainment provided here. We have attended & enjoyed dozens of performances at these theaters. We're looking forward to the summer movies again - classic movies at a bargain price on one of the biggest screens in Ohio! Check their website for info. I was... More

I have been able to get Smart Seats to all of the Broadway Across America plays this year. Check out the IDEA Center an hour before showtime to hear about the background of the play.

We enjoyed one of the Tri-C Jazz Festival concerts at the State Theater during our recent Cleveland trip. Kudos to the efforts of all who worked to restore these beautiful theaters and the Playhouse Square complex. We enjoyed the Jazz Fest concert very much.

We live where we can just hop a train into NYC and this play was just as good as if it was on boardway. The theater is beautiful.

This is a nice venue. I usually don't recommend orchestra level seating but for a comedy show it worked great - even being farther back in the section (TT) wasn't a problem. (For shows where sound matters I prefer to be up a little bit higher in terms of height as I think the sound is a bit better.) The... More

I've been told that Playhouse Square is the largest theater area outside of New York City. The theaters are absolutely exquisite. We have a membership to the Broadway Series, so we visit monthly. The theaters have been refurbished magnificently.

Went for the Alison Krauss & Union Station concert on 3/31. Nice old theater. Good sight lines, surprisingly good acoustics. Ushers were efficient & pleasant, concessions were good. Not one negative thing to say about our experience!
