Clean, friendly village. I would advise being careful driving through the narrow streets. The visibility is obscured by parked vehicles and oncoming traffic is hard to see. I'm from the Columbus area. German Village is a great area to visit. I recommend walking the streets and see the older homes and brick streets. Upon seeing reviews inTripadviser we decided to swing off the interstate on our trip eastward. A quaint area, but not worth going out of your way. I must say, however, that the gigantic, rambling bookstore is quite a place. more

This is a great area, very easy off 1-70 for a break. The area is getting more and more upscale, lots of luxury cars and clearly monied residents. Recommend the Mowhawk Tavern and Schmidt's! more

All the little stores, all the resteraunts in German Village, unbelievable. The Mohawk, Max and ermas and of course roosters are all great places to eat. the best food. Just driving down the streets is a trip, like i said in the title i cant stay away from there, its such a great community with such nice people. more

I liked Columbus almost immediately upon visiting. Not too big or small, plenty to see and do.
