Great for a country walk and lots of nature. The nearby village has a lovely chippy and a few quaint shops.

hamsterly forest is great for taking your horse for a day out. it has a proper parking area for horseboxes with a mounting block and also rails to tie your horses to the bridal paths are beautiful .

Not been for a while, but have always found this to be a good day out - the bike tracks are very good etc

Hamsterley Forest is a great day out for all the family. Lovely dog walks and excellent mountain bike trails for all abilities. There is now also a pack-horse trail for competent mountain bikers. Hamsterley forest is a lovely place for a family day out. The children enjoy playing in the river or can hire bikes. There are numerous cycle and walking paths suitable for different abilities.

great place to visit for a walk in the forest, bike riding, picnics. I have been to visit Hamsterley Forest many times over the years and my children have stayed there with groups camping. There is a shop and visitors centre and tea rooms.

Excellent day out for walking, cycling or picnicking. The forest is kept in great condition and the car park seems secure.

took our dog and bikes here, its lovely, and loads of it. great when the weather is nice, a good day out.
